already appreciate the importance of Southbourne Social Club to the local
community and are undoubtedly an enthusiastic member enjoying the many
facilities the club has to offer.
On the other hand, you may be new to the area or perhaps always wanted to know more about the club. If so, then

The Bar, perhaps the most popular part of the club - you decide, is well stocked and well served by Paul, the clubs
resident Steward. With support from a team of friendly bar staff, Paul keeps the bar and the beer flowing smoothly.
The recently decorated and re-furnished lounge area provides a pleasant setting to enjoy your drink in
the company of fellow members.

If snooker's your game then you're in for a treat! Not one, but three tables available in the Snooker room for use
at a nominal cost.
Separated from the lounge and dance hall area, the snooker hall provides a quieter environment for both the
beginner and more serious player. It has it's own bar too!

Back in the lounge for a game of darts. In use, well there's a second dartboard available or maybe you
would prefer a game of pool. No. Well how about watching that major sporting event on big screen TV. |
Live music arrives at Southbourne club on a Saturday night which ensures the dance hall is filled in appreciation
of some of the best local acts.
Other activities to take place in the hall include short mat bowling, bingo, quiz nights etc. In fact, club
members are encouraged to propose further suitable activities to make full use of the hall.

The hall is also available for hire to club members for private parties and can comfortably seat in excess of
seventy people for receptions etc. |
Southbourne Bowls Club operate as a section of
the Social Club where for an additional membership fee, club
members can enjoy full use of the bowls facilities with
competitive matches as well as internal club competitions.
The Bowls Club offer a full fixture card from
April to September of competitive matches as well as internal club
competitions and roll-up sessions
